An urban Senior Session in Downtown Charlotte

First, this was my very first photo session in the Carolinas, after my move out of state! Woot woot! This gave me a great opportunity to explore Charlotte NC for some great photo spots. And I have to say, Charlotte has so many great sides! From skyline view, to parks, to brick walls covered in art.

I am so happy we made the move out here! I see some great opportunities for sessions ahead 😉

Well, second, and most obvious milestone; this girl made it through some crazy years of school. I think anyone who went to school during a pandemic, deserves a reward. Schooling can be hard enough without all those complications, am I right!? *cheers to the class of 2021*

Meet Renee! What inspired me the most, is her confident, creative life spirit. And anyone who knows her, can agree with me on that. 

To reflect exactly that in her senior photos, we met at NoDa, North Carolina. NoDa is an awesome gem, north of Charlotte with lots of creative back drops. We had brick walls, windows, graffiti, cute shops, cool stairs etc. I just loved how the splashes of color reflect her personality!

From there we headed over to one of my favorite places in Charlotte – Camp North End. 

I love the vibe of fun art shows, awesome coffee and boutiques. This location is a photographers dream and the sunset was the cherry on top!
