I had a vision in my mind before this session. A vision of spring-time blooming pink and white trees. A vision of glowy warm light falling through the trees. A vision of bright photos, full of life.
Especially after the gloomy winter of 2020, a winter full of indoor time, cold days, and the good old pandemic..
a blooming light spring family session
I was excited when I got the request of taking family photos. This especially fit with the Bratko’s circumstances. Imagine living through the winter of 2020 as a nurse. A winter filled with sickness and darkness. This beautiful mama here, is truly a hero. Risking her own health to care for others.
And I feel honored that I could capture this season of their lives. Because this spring family session wasn’t just a good time to celebrate more light during the days, but also a new schedule with better work hours, warmer days and more family quality time.
Northside Park in Wheaton was the perfect location to get my vision come to life. We enjoyed the beautiful big and blooming magnolia tree, the sunset hour and a quick play session on the playground during their family photos. Gotta keep it fun 😉
